I first began Shadows & Dust as an archive of my favourite fiction in May 29th 2002, but it gradually developed into something much larger, and today hosts near to 500 authors and a wide range of BtVS and AtS related stories.

As I delved into the world of fan fiction, and began writing myself, I found that there weren't many Award sites for fiction itself, so, with the help of a friend, on August 10th 2002, Shadows & Dust Fanfiction Awards was founded.

When ff.net scrapped NC17 fiction from its archives, and SDFA began taking crossover nominations, I decided that I could host any fiction that couldn't go onto Shadows & Dust main archive, in a smaller, seperate site, and on 17th September 2002, Desired - a multi-fandom crossover archive was launched.

After realising that I could use Photoshop, albeit warily and not very well, on 22nd September 2002, I launched Inspired - A Personal Fan Art Site, which has since grown in size, and now holds the majority of my fandom based art work.

Shadows & Dust Fanfiction Archive became more popular as time went on, and I felt it was time to move my own collection of fiction to its own place. Dream With Me - A Personal Fiction Archive, was founded on 2nd October 2002,

Now, four years on, SDFA has had a hiatus, most of the smaller sites need updating, but Shadows & Dust - The Archive is still going strong, and SDFA is doing really well.

So, the Shadows & Dust journey continues, as I develop my skills in graphic design. Here you will find journal entries for the Shadows & Dust Site Collective. Including updates to the separate collective sites, and information about upcoming projects.
